The Vampire’s Wife Dress (sold out, similar here), Chanel Pumps (similar, less expensive here), Shashi Headband (sold out, similar here)
Before our trip to Blackberry Farm, I came across this floral toile dress by The Vampire’s Wife, similar here, one of my go-to brands for special occasion-worthy styles, on sale. Instantly smitten with the vintage-inspired print and dramatic puff sleeves, I scooped it up for one of our evenings out. The end of summer is often a perfect time to find dresses at lower prices, as many retailers turn their attention toward pieces for colder temperatures. Since there are still plenty of dress-wearing weeks ahead in Charleston, and I know in many other places as well, I rounded up some of my favorite dresses on sale now below.
Red and white florals adorn this dress from The Vampire’s Wife, accenting the ruffle collar and sleeve detailing that are signatures of the label. Dress this style up for a special evening with a pair of slingback pumps.
A classic cotton midi dress, like this one from The Great, can easily be styled for transitional seasons. For a timeless, feminine look, pair it with mary-jane flats.
Eyelet is often associated with summer, but the long sleeves, midi length, and higher neckline of this dress make it just right for fall, especially when paired with tall boots.
