Pippa Holt Kaftan (similar here), Anthropologie Belt (old, similar here)
I love slipping kaftans over swimsuits to wear to the beach or pool, but I also frequently style them for casual days at home. Some of the pieces I’ve found over the years are so beautiful, it would be a shame to only wear them for a short time when heading to or from the water! Instead, I slip into these relaxed, breezy styles as often as I can, occasionally adding a belt to create a more defined silhouette. The lightweight fabric feels luxuriously comfortable on the hot summer days we are currently in the midst of. See below for my favorite kaftans to wear to the beach and beyond.
I’ve had my eye on Pippa Holt kaftans for years and finally added one to my closet this season. I love to wear mine both with a belt or without, depending on the silhouette I want to create on any given day.
This chintz kaftan by Sarah Bray Bermuda is inspired by Bunny Mellon, one of my most beloved style icons. It is made from vintage linen Schumacher fabric, resulting in a classic and luxurious piece.
This breezy, handcrafted kaftan by Lemlem is made from a gauze fabric, so it’s perfect for a hot day by the pool. Just pair with your favorite sandals.
