I’ve been filling our home with pastel spring decor in anticipation of Easter and to bring some extra joy to look forward to. There’s no reason to go all out and set a pretty table, but then again, there’s also no reason not to. I had fun setting this up the other day and look forward to having our Easter brunch here at home. A few of my favorite place settings details include floral table cloths, daintily printed napkins, place mats, painted plates, and colored glassware. Finishing touches that bring everything to life include holiday novelty finds like tiny bowls and vases, candies (chocolate covered almonds and jelly beans are my favorite), flower cookies, ceramic bunny figurines, and, of course, fresh tulips (thank you Whole Foods!). This year, our Easter table is set for four adults plus one little Clementine. A small celebration, but nevertheless special since it will be Clementine’s first. She is already obsessed with all the colorful eggs, bunnies, baskets and flowers sprinkled throughout the house. We are so looking forward to these happy spring celebrations—moments to enjoy with those we can be close to right now, as well as family and friends afar via video chat, so everyone can be together.
