When it comes to home organization, we rely pretty heavily on baskets and bins sprinkled through-out the house to to do the job of keeping needed items available, but also out of site. I love how a beautiful container can camouflage as home decor. There are two key rules – that each container is aesthetically pleasing, and that each is functional and versatile enough to handle our ever-growing storage needs. In my ideal world, everything would have a dedicated space and everyone would make sure to put things away in the proper place. While this may not always be realistic (maybe a bit too perfectionistic in a home with a baby!), having various options around the home at least helps to create some sense of order!
Nesting Baskets
We use different sized baskets to store Clementine’s toys when she’s not playing with them. I love these three nesting baskets from Bunny Williams because they come with lids and have a pretty scalloped liner to complement our home decor.
Floral Storage Bin
We keep these floral storage hampers in our laundry room to help with sorting clothes and carrying laundry from room to room. At a great price point and multiple sizes, they are perfect for tackling organization projects around the house without compromising design.
Decoupage Desk Set
Having my desk in order allows me to feel creative and able to do my best work. Scanlon Appereti makes beautiful decoupage desk accessories including letter holders, floral stationery trays, and pencil cup sets in the sweetest floral prints.
There are so many beautiful baskets, bins, trunks, and boxes that can be used in more ways than one for Clemmie’s toys, office items, laundry, shoes, mail, knickknacks, books, throws, towels, pillows, games, and more. Whether set-out on display or hidden away under a bed, I’ve rounded-up a variety of these below, many of which we use in our own home to help us stay clutter-free. We hope you find them as useful as we do!
