My Favorite Nightgown

Outfit Details:
Loretta Caponi Maxi Worn as a Nightgown

Spending time working from home doesn’t always have to mean getting dressed-up for the day. Staying comfy in a beautifully relaxed nightgown can be just as tempting. This cotton Loretta Caponi maxi is the best of both worlds – a dress and a luxurious nightgown all rolled into one. The smocked detailing and nostalgic style add to it’s loungewear worthiness. I’ve worn it both ways just because it is too beautiful not to. Much like my everyday clothing, I try to keep an eye out for soft fabrics, feminine colors and patterns, and special details like ruffles and piping in my nightgowns. Below is a round-up of some of my favorite light-weight styles to wear as the weather warms up this spring.

Smocked Nightgown

I’ve been obsessed with Loretta Caponi ever since I discovered her smocked maxi gowns a couple of years ago. I wear mine to both sleep in and lounge in throughout the day.

Cotton Nightgown

This simple cotton nightgown from Lake Pajamas in a signature stripe pattern, is one of the most comfortable sleepwear pieces I own. The pima cotton is incredibly soft and the mini length is perfect for warmer spring days.

Floral Nightgown

I love the dainty floral print of this nightgown by Emilia Wickstead. It’s midi length is just as romantic as it is comfortable for a sweet sleepwear style.
