Gal Meets Glam Collection Cassidy Dress, Hunting Season Bag (sold out, similar here), Castaner Espadrilles
Every spring, a few floral printed maxi dresses quickly become some of my favorite pieces in my closet. Something about the delicate prints, pastel colors, and flowing fabrics exemplify what I love most about spring fashion. While these dresses are perfect for special occasions like garden parties, afternoon teas, bridal and baby showers, and weddings, I’ve always believed that the most beautiful pieces in my closet are worth wearing more often. I reached for our new Gal Meets Glam Collection Cassidy dress on an ordinary Monday, and it instantly set the tone for a more elegant, inspiring week.
I don’t own too many lavender pieces, which makes this peony print even more unique and special amongst my other dresses. It feels irresistibly fresh and feminine, especially paired with cream accessories like crochet espadrilles and a raffia clutch (mine is sold out, but I also love this one, this one, and this one). The very best thing about this dress, though, is how flattering it is, thanks to the v-neckline, puffed sleeves, and ruffle at the waistline.
To bring the soft, romantic feel of this look to more casual settings, I’ve included a few other pastel pieces I’m loving throughout this post. This Rebecca Taylor blouse features a gorgeous wisteria print in a similar color palette, for example, while these bow wedges make a whimsical addition to any spring shoe collection.
