This time of year, outfits that transition from one event to the next are especially important. On any given day, I might be running from a meeting, to a store to pick up a gift, to the office, and to a holiday party, one right after the other. Knowing that time is tight means it’s more important than ever to plan outfits that work for everything on my calendar. The Ophelia Coat fits-in perfectly since it looks great paired with a variety of pieces, colors and styles, adding a fun statement that is both comfortable, warm and stylish.

The Renee set was our seasonal twist on the classic two-piece knit set. You can see how I wore the top on its own here, but I especially love the way the coordinating top and skirt look together. The exact set isn’t available anymore, but our Ashley sweater and skirt have a similar feel in a pretty blush hue. Now that the weather has grown too chilly to style the set on its own, I added a few layers to stay warm all day long. Wearing over-the-knee boots is one of my best tricks for extending dress and skirt season well into winter, since they feel almost like tights but add more warmth.

I love how crisp and classic black and white coats look with holiday pieces and the Ophelia is no exception. The chic houndstooth pattern, black piping and tie-waist detail make any outfit feel instantly feminine and polished. See more of our black and white coats below!
