Outfit Details: GMG Collection Annika Jacket, Rebecca Taylor Jeans, Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Grenadine
This time of year, I like to review and refresh my makeup bag and collection of beauty products. Along with the change of season inspiring me to experiment with some different looks, the arrival of cooler weather also changes what my skin and hair need in order to look their best. I’m always curious to learn what beauty products other people swear by, so I asked our team to share what they’ve been using and loving over the past month. Let us know what your current go-to products are too, or if you decide to give any of these a try!
Cream Bronzer
I received a sample of RMS Beauty’s Buriti Bronzer in a recent Sephora order and promptly added the full-sized version to my cart. The creamy formula blends beautifully and you only need a tiny bit to achieve a radiant look. I’ve been using it most often on my cheekbones in place of blush for a subtly bronzed glow that feels perfect for fall. – Lisa
Vitamin C Serum
The Vitamin C Brightening Serum from Sunday Riley has made a world of a difference in my skin texture and makeup application. As the weather gets colder, my skin can start to look quite dull. Using this on a freshly washed face before applying my makeup adds the perfect glow! It’s free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, which makes me love it even more. – Alexandra
Tinted Moisturizer
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is my absolute favorite product to wear daily. It’s so lightweight, it feels as though I’m not wearing anything on my skin, but it adds the perfect healthy glow. I also love that it has SPF 30 to protect my face without an extra step in my morning routine. – Caroline
Resurfacing Mask
As the season changes to fall, my skin tends to get a bit drier and duller. The Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask is a quick and easy way to instantly get that summer glow back! Before a big weekend or event, I always make sure to include it in my evening skincare routine. I apply it to a clean face and go about my evening for fifteen minutes or so before I wash it off and moisturize. When I wake up in the morning, I swear my skin looks healthier and glowier! – Annika
Luminizers
The last step in my daily makeup routine is adding a touch of RMS Beauty Living Luminizer at the tops of my cheekbones and on my eyelids. When I’m going for an extra dewy look, I dab a touch of it at the ridge of my nose and center of my chin as well. In the evening, I opt for the Magic Luminizer for a touch of gold on my eyelids and cheekbones. This subtle highlighter always does the trick and makes me feel like I’m glowing in the best way. – Margaret
Easy Lipstick
Southern mommas are a force of nature, and mine is no exception. She taught me so many things that I use on a daily basis. One of the most important beauty tips I heard at an early age was: “If you don’t have the time to put on a stitch of makeup, at least put on lipstick. Even if you are just heading to the grocery store.” MAC Lipstick in Retro is like an amplified natural lip color. You can adjust the intensity by blotting, so it’s perfect for any and all occasions (or trips to the grocery store!). – Paige
Body Exfoliator
I’ve played sports my whole life and have often dealt with chest acne. It wasn’t as bad during my baseball days, but since I now usually do workouts like Peloton or Orangetheory, where you wear a chest-strapped heart monitor, I’ve noticed chest breakouts happening more frequently. I’ve tried dozens of exfoliating face products that were ineffective at treating my back, neck, and chest. It wasn’t until we got Necessaire The Body Exfoliator as part of a bigger kit that I finally found a product that could eliminate the issue. The exfoliation is gentle enough to use daily, so I use it instead of my normal body wash after each workout. – Thomas
Eyelash Serum
Last June, as I was shopping for a new mascara, a woman about my age began raving about how long her eyelashes had grown by using an eyelash serum I had never heard of. I was skeptical, but after seeing how truly long her long eyelashes were, I decided to give it a try. Today, my eyelashes have grown longer and thicker and I only need one coat of mascara. I am beyond pleased! The best part is that Rapid Lash is half the price of similar products and they do not test on animals. – Judie
