In the late summer, all of my favorite dresses to wear have plenty of movement to them, so it’s no surprise that flowy maxi dresses continue to be staples in my closet. They’re some of my most comfortable and flattering options lately. Along with our new maxis, my August favorites include some chic, but still relaxed, daytime styles in an array of charming prints. We truly embraced color and pattern in this collection and I love the results–from fresh takes on plaid to fall-inspired florals, there’s a dress for every occasion.

Cassandra Dress

We launched two new maxi dresses in our August Collection. The Cassandra dress, shown in the photos above, has a delicate flutter sleeve detail and a muted purple jacquard print that nods to the lingering days of summer, while also looking ahead to the rich colors that are right around the corner as the seasons change.

Dahlia Dress

The second maxi we launched in our August Collection is the Dahlia dress, which I also wore for some of our recent maternity shoot. Its orchid color and flowy silhouette make it the perfect piece for late summer days as well as chillier fall temperatures. I’m already planning to wear this dress with boots and a jacket!

Tegan Dress

Last week, I wore the Tegan dress, a tiered midi with puff sleeves that dresses up or down effortlessly, to work one day. With its deep green, burnt orange, and muted pink palette, it might be my favorite transitional floral to wear from summer into autumn.

Piper Dress

For a more casual style, I love the Piper, a medallion-print mini with a comfortable smocked bodice. Its ruffle sleeves, one of my favorite details on this piece, adds an extra touch of flair to this easy-to-wear style. I can’t wait to pair it with suede flats or loafers to work after my maternity leave!

Finley Dress

One last favorite to share: the Finley, a mauve, wear-anywhere midi featuring a playful polka dot print, keyhole neck, and striped details. This packed-with-personality dress is so much fun to wear, whether to work or on the weekend. We paired it with a simple espadrille at our shoot, but it would just as elegant with flats, sandals, or booties as the weather cools down.
