While on our babymoon, Thomas and I relaxed during the day, only doing a few activities towards the end of the trip, and would get dressed up for dinner every evening. It’s one of my favorite parts of vacation- food! Our hotel, Cap Rocat, had two wonderful restaurants, one a beautiful seaside restaurant called the Sea Club and the other, a fine dining option called La Fortaleza. We never left the property, so we had multiple reservations at both places. Usually when we’re traveling, we look for restaurants, both casual and formal, all around to try and find the best in the area. But not wanting to do much research ahead of this trip, and not looking to spend time traveling in a car, we got lucky with being able to walk a short distance from our room for our nights out in Mallorca!

For our dinner at La Fortaleza, I wore this incredibly beautiful Ulla Johnson embroidered dress that I bought at Hampden in Charleston before leaving for Spain. Thanks to the open back (which is lined with lace), I was able to squeeze into one size up and knew it would be perfect for a date night out in Mallorca. I love this dress so much and it’s now on sale here, here and here!

On our last evening at Cap Rocat, we headed down to the Sea Club for our last meal. This was our favorite spot that we’d go for both lunch and dinner. Not only was the seafood incredible, but you really couldn’t beat the views! Built into the side of the cliff, we’d watch the sun set as we nestled into our table with a cocktail and mocktail in hand.Ā Another dress I got before our trip was this linen Zimmermann one, which ended up being really nice with its long sleeves and length since some of the nights in Mallorca ended up being a bit cooler!
I’ve been wearing a lot less makeup during my pregnancy and it actually all stems from being a bit too tired to care, really! I’ve gone sans mascara or any eye makeup for a while and it feels so nice to embrace a more natural look. I have however, repeatedly worn my favorite orange-red lipstick, which is this “Blood Orange” one by Bobbi Brown.
