After my sister’s wedding in June, I’ll be done flying until after Baby B arrives. I don’t even remember the last time I went multiple months without getting on a plane! While I was originally nervous about staying put for a few months, I’m now genuinely looking forward to the opportunity to be close to home for a while. It creates the perfect excuse for Thomas and me to have some down time, either at home or nearby. I’ve already been earmarking a few weekends with some of our favorite summer activities, but I’m also purposefully leaving many weekends open for relaxed, carefree, no-reservation adventures. We’ve already headed out to Sullivan’s Island a few times, even if it’s just for a sunset stroll.

Especially when I don’t know exactly where a day will end up taking us, shoes that keep me ready for anything are key. Soludos has made some of my favorite wear-anywhere shoes in the past, so they’re now one of the first places I turn when I’m looking for comfortable, stylish options that work with both casual and dressy outfits. They add an extra feminine touch to even the most casual outfits, which is why I’ll be pairing them with anything from cotton sundresses to linen tops and shorts this summer.
