When we were designing this month’s Collection and I thought about what I would want to wear in May, the first word that came to my mind was color. I love colorful dresses and accessories year-round, but especially now as the sun lingers in the sky a little longer every evening, flowers are in full bloom (the jasmine at our house smells heavenly right now!), and each day is a little warmer than the last, I want to dress as vibrantly as I feel. The carefree days of summer are right around the corner, but I also hope to savor every last moment of this much-awaited springtime.

We chased the sunshine to Palm Springs, California to find a perfectly vibrant backdrop for this month’s dresses, jumpsuits, and lightweight sweaters. In bold, bright hues, wildflower prints, and timeless neutrals, each of these charming styles helps us skip from one season to the next, always dressed and ready for adventure. In a month that can be full of celebration, I wanted to provide our customers with a perfect balance of casual, effortless pieces and styles that can easily be dressed up for special occasions. You’ll find the former in pieces like our gingham Bailey jumpsuit, sweet striped Hattie dress, and floral Beverly jumpsuit, and the latter in our vibrant Regina dress, romantic Imogene maxi, and gorgeous green Elsie dress, to name a few.
