If there’s one color I’ve fully embraced with open arms this year, it’s yellow. I’ve always been a fan of the happy hue, but lately I’ve been finding myself drawn to more and more of it. It all started with these yellow espadrilles I picked up in January, followed by this bell sleeved Zara top, then I pulled out this old favorite yellow and pink skirt and this daisy jacket and bought this little cross-body bag in Palm Beach. This yellow midi skirt with the matching top (that I wore separately here) are my newest additions that I can’t wait to mix and match with other pieces in my spring wardrobe.

While I love my yellow Sea combo, Madewell came out with a very similar matching top and skirt in an almost identical shade (and it even has buttons, too!). The top is only $45 and the skirt falls right under $100. If you can’t get enough of the color, these sandals make a pretty cute way to add the color as an accessory, as does this bag. And lastly, this J.Crew gingham popover in the same yellow shade would make the cutest Easter outfit paired with a white skirt or white jeans.

Charleston is in full bloom and it’s absolutely breathtaking! We try and take a walk around downtown for at least 30 minutes everyday and we’re constantly seeing new trees and bushes take on a new beauty with the warm weather. We’re excited to be in the thick of it with our temporary rental during renovations!

Instead of my usual ballet flats or sandals, I pulled out my trusty Converse that have been a staple in my closet for years and years. Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with a classic white pair, especially if you want a simple sneaker to walk around in.
