We made it back safely from Maui on Friday evening and have been in full house cleaning/organizing mode ever since, trying to prep for the big move in a few weeks. Luckily I spent the five wifi-less hours on our flight going through photos, so I have that all organized to share with you guys over the next week. Thomas and I love visiting Hawaii and we try to go at least once a year. We knew that it would be a little more difficult from our new place, plus we wanted to spend some time with family, and the scheduling worked out perfectly with the end of August being a slower time to visit.
One stop we always make on every trip to Maui is to Mama’s Fish House. We usually go for dinner, but this time around we headed over for lunch to finally be able to see the gorgeous beach it sits on during the day. The windows are huge and open, so a cool breeze blows in while you eat delicious food and watch the waves at the same time. We all ordered a round of piña coladas to start, followed by the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi for lunch.
It also ended up being the perfect time to pick up a few warm weather pieces for Hawaii since mostly everything was on sale. I bought this gauzy Faithfull The Brand dress right before we left and wore it over this Marysia bikini for a day of beach, pool and walking around Paia. I also used this Hat Attack beach tote every single day. I love the little tassels and the size is perfect to carry all of the essentials you need.
