Club Monaco Top, BB Dakota SkirtĀ (dress version here), Stuart Weitzman Heels, Oliver Peoples Sunglasses, Gucci Bag
Last week we got lucky with some of the most beautiful weather, temperatures even reaching the 80s here in SF. Unfortunately, since then, our official “summer” has rolled in with the fog and the wind, butĀ at least the sun keeps peeking through. When I do wake up on a glorious warm morning, it always inspires me to get a little more dressed up than usual and to take advantage of the warmth.
I couldn’t wait to wear this BB Dakota skirt the moment I got it. For under $100, it rivals some of the more expensive ones I have sitting in my closet. The mix of the rose print against the simple fabric, the full skirt and the tea length all make it one beautiful piece. I love a skirt (or dress) the falls just below the knees, it has a ladylike feel that is missing so much these days. I paired the skirt with my Club Monaco ruffled top (love this eyelet version) that was last seen here.
Most days, you’ll usually find me in a pair of ballet flats, but every so often, I’ll slip on a pair of pumps or heels to add an extra pep to my step (or if I have an important meeting and want a little boost). These Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals are the sleekest and most flattering pair I own. I had some less expensive replicas that didn’t last and finally got myself a pair after eyeing them for so long. I already know they’ll be my go-to for dresses and skirts this season. Shopbop has them in a few different versions hereĀ but I love the seed textured suede of mine.
