ASOS Romper c/o, Preston & Olivia Hat, Soludos Sandals, Vintage Belt (similar here)
On Monday, we jumped from cold to hot when Thomas and I took an early flight to the Dominican Republic from NYC. It’s our first time here and we’re already having such an incredible time. We’re staying at the insanely gorgeous Playa Grande Beach Club and have been documenting our trip so far on Instagram, but I’m sharing a bit more on the blog today with much more to come over the following week. I’m keeping today’s post short and sweet with this easy ASOS romper I wore yesterday topped off with my new Preston & Olivia hat that I’ve been wearing everyday.
Naturally, because our bodies are all out of whack with time changes, we woke up at sunrise and walked along the beach as the sun filtered through the jungle around the property. We headed to a delicious breakfast of banana pancakes and a rainbow array of fruit before jumping on the bikes sitting around the property for an early morning ride.
I recently was asked what my favorite things to pack for a holiday are and my answer has always been- jumpsuits/rompers and dresses. Anything that’s effortless and simple is best. This one from ASOS almost looks like a mini dress at first because of the ruffles, but has the convenient factor (in the sense that you can do activities like riding a bike) of being a romper. I love the blue and white pinstripe print and crochet detailing, plus it’s only $60.
Preston & Olivia make some of the best hats and I’m obsessed with my new Milford one. All of their hats are handmade in NYC!
Thank you to Shopstyle & ASOS for sponsoring this post.
