I wish I was one of those people who could slip on any style of jeans in my size and have them look perfect. Unfortunately, I have to do more of a search through trial and error, but it does make finding the right pair that much more gratifying. Over the years, I’ve learned which jeans best flatter my figure, but sometimes it’s a new brand or fabric that opens the doors to a new shape or style. I recently found these 3×1 jeans that are ultra flattering with a high waist and subtle, cropped flare.
Shopbop recently launched the Principle Collection – an exclusive denim line made up of 15 unique styles from some of the best jean designers (like MiH, MOTHER, J Brand, AG, Current Elliott and Rag & Bone). They’ve streamlined the measurement of the rises across all of the brands (mid-rises at 9.8” and high-rises at 10.8”) making it easy to know your preference after you’ve tried on your first pair. I already have my eye on this pair after buying these 3×1 jeans.
In case you didn’t know, Shopbop just launched their Friends & Family 25% off sale yesterday, making it the perfect time to pick up some fall staples. My process for navigating the sale is to try and figure out which basics I’m missing from my closet and then try to fill those gaps. Pieces like a cream blazer, great coat or chic clutch are classics that you won’t regret investing in.
Two accessories that I picked up after coveting them for a while are these Isa Tapia flats, offering a fun take on the leopard shoe with their heart shaped vamp, and this Sophie Hulme clutch. Instead of opting for color (which I’m known for), I chose classic black and black/leopard so they’ll easily pair with pieces I already own.
You can shop more of my favorite picks from Shopbop below, or check-out some of my “can’t miss” pieces like this pink blouse, these super chic pants, this sweet black and white dress and this perfect grey coat.
Thank you to Shopbop for sponsoring this post.
