After spending most of the weekend inside unpacking, catching up on emails and editing photos, Thomas and I took our bikes out on Sunday afternoon for some fresh air around the neighborhood. It’s always nice to come home to our familiarities and routines like getting takeout and binge watching one of our favorite shows.

How cute are these striped flats from Express? At under $40, they’re a steal!

These high waisted sailor shorts might be my favorite Express item ever. I love them so much that I also bought them in light blue but they also come in white, red and denim (which would be darling for the 4th!). I went for a more nautical vibe with a classic striped sweater and red lip for this summery afternoon spent in sunshine.
