The Luggage We Travel With

Thomas and I are in the midst of a busy travel season, which means frequent packing, unpacking and packing again. Not that I’m complaining – I’ve been enjoying our summer trips and getaways. For longer travels we aren’t ones for trying to fit everything into a carry-on. Instead, we rely on a full set of Hartmann luggage (that we’ve been using for years!) to carry our belongings because they are lightweight, easy to maneuver and can withstand the wear and tear of our frequent journeys. In addition, I almost always travel with my Goyard bag as my carry-on or this one from Tuckernuck. Thomas also carries his camera equipment in either one of his ONA bags, this one or this one

For short trips I usually take my Steamline luggage (seen on Gal Meets Glam here, here and here). Classic, with a vintage-inspired design, they’re definitely one of the cutest bags around but still functional at the same time. For overnight trips, I’ll take my Goyard tote and another soft weekender bag, my favorites being this Lo & Sons one and this Cuyana one. We usually carry backpacks when we’re flying somewhere where we know we’ll be active and outdoors a lot. It’s also really nice to be hands-free. My Patagonia backpack carries my laptop, headphones, water bottle, wallet, cell phone and more.  They’re also great to have for day-long excursions, bike rides, and sightseeing, making it easy to carry all our stuff while snapping photos.
