In the words of Shelby from Steel Magnolias, “pink is my signature color.” Ever since I was a little girl, it’s the color that has made me feel like the truest version of myself when I wear it. As spring draws near, I haven’t been able to resist wearing at least a little bit of pink lately–it’s the perfect way to brighten up the middle of winter! (our recent visit to Palm Springs to shoot next month’s Gal Meets Glam Collection didn’t hurt either.) Most people take the season into account when putting an outfit together, but I think drawing additional inspiration from your surroundings, and even your travels all contribute to making getting dressed a more joyful process. I’m a firm believer that it should always be a fun part of the day! Sometimes thought of as a youthful color, I’ve always found pink quite elegant as well.
