Simple. It often gets lost in this world of fast trends, quick buys and big personality pieces. But at the core of my personal style, lies just that, simplicity. I love pieces that have a feminine simplicity – a great classic shirt dress, a clean midi skirt, and crisp white shirt, or a great pair of camel flats. I avoid most trends and try to not buy pieces just because they’re popular or of the moment. I know what I love and I dress for myself. And I know many of you feel the exact same way. I’m drawn to brands that also follow this same philosophy and one that I’ve been wearing since day one of starting Gal Meets Glam is Ann Taylor. As one of my mom’s favorite brands while I was growing up, she passed that love onto me, and I started buying my first pieces while I was in college that still remain in my closet today.

Year after year, I’ve continually found pieces from Ann Taylor that have remained timeless favorites of mine. And this season? It’s this classic combination I found. A beautiful, elegant linen midi skirt that’s versatile and works to create so many different looks. A chic cream jacket with a navy contrast trim that makes the best summer layer. A comfortable pair of camel tassel flats. All three work perfectly paired together as much as they do in separate looks. All three will never go out of style, and that’s what I love.
